Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAWW), is a leading global provider of outsourced aircraft and aviation operating services. The Atlas Training Department gained FAA approval in February 1993 under §121. In September 2007, Atlas Air announced that it won a five-year U.S. Air Force contract to train the aircrews of Air Force One.
In June of 2008, Atlas Air was awarded a five-year contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide flight training for the Air Force pilots and flight engineers who fly the E-4B National Airborne Operations Center. Atlas Air is currently in their second 5-year awarded contract providing training for the crews of Air Force One and the E-4B National Airborne Operations Center.

In February 2011, Atlas Air Training Center gained §142 approval. The training center has consistently demonstrated that our flight simulators and flight training devices used for training, testing, and checking meet rigorous FAA standards. Our current customers include: The Department of Defense, NASA and the FAA.
Currently, over 1400 airmen receive their initial, transition and recurrent flight training in this facility. We maintain a staff of highly qualified instructors who are trained and qualified in various specialized functions necessary to support safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our 60 aircraft, consisting of B747-4/-8s and B767s for our freighter and passenger operations.
